Staff

Donald D. Engstrom, CPA
Donald is a Manager in the Firm and specializes in business valuations, Federal and State Taxation and financial forecasts and projections. He received his B.S. Degree and MBA from the University of Connecticut. Donald spent the early part of his public accounting career in the Big Eight before gaining private company experience in the financing and leasing industry. Donald joined the Firm in 1992 and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants and currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Guilford Lions Club as Treasurer.

Donald J. Nieto, CPA
Don is a Manager in the Firm and concentrates on software consulting services and small business consulting. Don is a Certified Quickbooks ProAdvisor and assists our clients with many different types of software including Peachtree and PCLAW. He received his B.S. Degree from the University of Connecticut and began his public accounting career in 1988. Don joined the Firm in 1997 and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Walter Makepeace, CPA
Walter is a Senior Accountant in the Firm and concentrates on small business auditing and consulting. He received his B.S. Degree from the University of Connecticut and his Masters Degree in Taxation from the University of Hartford. Walter began his public accounting career in 1976 and joined the Firm in 1992. Walter is a member of the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants and currently serves on the Board of Directors for the New London Rotary Club as Treasurer.

Noelle C. Cormier, CPA
Noelle is a Senior Accountant in the Firm and concentrates on small business and not for profit auditing. She received her B.S. Degree from Eastern Connecticut State University. Noelle began her public accounting career in 1996 and joined the Firm in 2005. Noelle is a member of the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants and currently serves on the Not For Profit Committee.

Constance L. Rondeau
Connie is a Senior Accountant in the Firm and specializes in small business accounting and State Taxation. Connie is a Certified Quickbooks ProAdvisor and assists our clients with Peachtree and One Write Plus. She received her B.S. Degree from Bryant College and joined the Firm in 1988. Connie volunteers with the PTO for the Sayles School System and is active in the Town Government of Baltic.

Erin C. Apicelli
Erin is a Senior Accountant in the Firm and specializes in small business accounting and software consulting services. Erin assists our clients with Peachtree, One Write Plus and she is a Certified Quickbooks ProAdvisor. She received her B.S. Degree from the University of Connecticut and joined the Firm in 2000.

Susan Verraneault
Sue is the Firm’s Administrator and joined the Firm in 1980. Sue is a notary public and acts in a fiduciary capacity for many of our clients. She also controls the Firm's quality control program as it relates to financial statement presentation and is the Firm's Individual Tax Preparation Manager. Sue also has the duty of Personnel Manager in administering all employee benefits.

Pamela Church
Pam is the Firm's Office Manager and joined the Firm in 1984. Pam controls the Firm's scheduling and work flow of all professional staff. She also acts as the Firm's Billing Manager.
